Our class of '58 was well represented this year at the Golden Gathering.
The following were seen in attendance:
Carla Curry Herring, Al Blodgett, Bland Herring, Bill and Gaynelle (Gaibler) Dressel, Jerry Schaad, Richard Carroll, Mike Sturdevant, Darlene Patton Livengood, Jerry Macken, Wilmer Meier. We have photos of all of those.

It was so good to see so many here this year. The parking lot ran out of spaces and the room was at capacity. We are always well cared for with refreshments and people to help us get oriented. The visiting never stops and time runs out before everyone gets to make the rounds. It's a great event and hope we have even more '58 classmates next year. See you then!

| Golden Gathering, August, 2008 |
Three members of our class attended the Golden Gathering in 2008: Darlene Patton Livengood, Mike Sturdevant and Jeanne Ochsner. It's a great get-together for anyone who graduated Newberg High School and, while it's intended for those whose graduation date is 50 years ago (or before), any old grad would have a wonderful time attending.
There were several members of the class of 1938 who were celebrating their 70th reunion, and one member of the class of 1926.
Next year's gathering will be held on August 9, 2009.
How about we get together again next year informally on the same weekend as the Golden Gathering? We would find some way for the event to be free to everyone. If you like the idea let us know.
