Occupation: Medication Aid at retirement center.
"Thanks for inviting me to your 50th reunion. I will not be able to attend as my 50th reunion from Albany High will be June 27, 28, and 29th.
I attended Newberg school through the sixth grade, seventh grade in Monmouth, OR, eighth grade in Eureka, CA., high school in Albany, Oregon I married in 1960 and moved to Nebraska in 1967. I didn't transplant very well as my heart still belongs to Oregon.
I have three daughters and four grandchildren and they all live close by.
I was an EMT on the Adams rescue squad for 10 years. Drove school bus for 20 years and I now work nights as a medication aid at a retirement center in Adams. I enjoy caring for the residents. I have learned so much from them. I can really relate to the aches and pains that come with growing older. On May 7, 2008, I will have completed 24 years caring for my residents. I find it to be very rewarding work.
I come to Oregon once a year as my mother lives in Redmond. My cousin Pat Weaver Martin is also always on my visiting list.
Well, friends, it is our time to stop and smell the roses. Wishing all of you happiness and good health in the years to come. These are our "Golden Years."
