A little news from Aberdeen. We had about 7" of rain starting the January 4th in about 12 hours. The city storm drain overloaded through an 1-1/2 drain into our basement. 22,500 gallons and 15+ inches later, 3 furnished bedrooms, a family room, bathroom, and furnace room were wiped-out. We had to remove dry wall, paneling, and repair electrical. We are down to studs. So a 4000 sqft home is now 2000 sqft. We are lost somewhere with denied State Farm, the City and FEMA.

Bob went to Newberg schools with us through eighth grade. He presently resides in Aberdeen, WA. Here's what he sent to us for the website. Received in April of 2008.
HIGH SCHOOL
Graduated from Marshfield HS in 1958. Had the opportunity to play football with a team that lost one game in my four years.
COLLEGE
Graduated from OSU in 1963. Have season tickets and attend most football games. We did attend the Fiesta Bowl when the Beavs beat Notre Dame.
FAMILY
Married my lovely wife, Jo-Ann, (Marshfield '60) and another Beaver. We have two sons (one in Anchorage and the other in Portland).
CAREER
Worked for Weyerhaeuser for almost 39 years. Modified, built, and managed wood product mills in Oregon, North Carolina, and Washington. I traveled on business in the Orient, Europe, and Canada. I retired in 2002.
INTERESTS
We have owned a couple of sail boats which we cruised and raced. We have traveled to a number of foreign countries. I fish and loved to bird hunt. With more time available, I currently serve on three boards in the community. Along with our home in Aberdeen, we have an apartment in Portland
