Hi, sorry we will not attend the reunion because we will be sightseeing in Alaska with our 13-year old grandson.
Tom and I will be celebrating our 50th Wedding Anniversary this year and are planning a trip to New York to take a Heritage of America Tour.
We have two married children and four grandchildren. We live in Hillsboro and all of our children and grandchildren live within eight miles of us.
We have a 21-year old grandson who works as a cook at a pizza restaurant, a 19-year old granddaughter that is a sophomore at Oregon State, a 13-year old grandson who is going into the eighth grade with almost a 4-grade point average and plays a lot of basketball. He is over 6-feet tall already and still growing. We have an eight year old grandson who is adopted and is a ball of energy. We do our best to spoil them and then send them home to their parents.
We are active in our church and have traveled to Biloxi, MS three times to help in the cleanup and reconstruction of homes after Katrina Hurricane. The last time we took our RV there for a month in 2007. It was quite an experience and interesting to see all the damage and hear some stories of survival from the people. They are loving people and they are still are struggling to get there lives together.
We are also active in square dancing for the past 16-years. Janice likes to bake and there are a lot of potlucks when the dancers get together. Tom likes to take photos and work on the computer, plus we both spend time working on our home and yard.
We like to travel and have gone to about half the states, including Alaska several times and Hawaii many times (Tom’s sister has lived on Maui for forty years). Outside of USA Panama Canal Cruise, Puerto Vallarta, Mexico, Los Cabos San Lucas, Mexico, British Columbia, and Alberta Canada.
