Following our reunion in July of 2008, Gaynelle sent this bio in for both she and Bill
It was great to see so many classmates at our 50th. Thanks to everyone that worked so hard on the committee. It was a fun weekend.
I retired in 1995 and after 36 years of coaching and teaching Bill retired in 1998. We keep very busy with our families. We have two children (45 and 49) and four granddaughters (22, 21, 19 and 15). We have been very fortunate that are children live close and we have been able to be very Gainvolved in our children and granddaughter's lives.
Our main hobby recently has been watching the girls participate in sporting events - they have played them all! We have done some traveling but mostly in the States. Bill recently lost both of his parents after long illnesses and my Mom currently is in a care home in Newberg. These circumstances keep us pretty close to home. We do enjoy road trips though, and take off with friends as often as we can.
We have lived in Tigard since 1970 but we are in Newberg often and so we have been able to keep up with some of our classmates that still live in Newberg. We also try to keep in touch with Roger and Alice Kaye, Carla and Keith and Larry Hubbell. Now with the wonderful information our committee has given us we will be able to keep in touch with more classmates.
We are looking forward to seeing you all at the next reunion!
