Linda Lee Farr Osborne was born August 6, 1940 to Virgil and Bonnie Farr. She was the second child of four. Linda spent her early childhood living on a hop farm in St. Paul, Oregon and shared many fond memories of her time there. She graduated from Newberg High School in 1958 and maintained a close relationship with many of her classmates throughout the years. Linda looked forward to attending her class reunions and visiting often with her friends.
In 1960 Linda met Michael Eugene Osborne and they married on February 14, 1961. They celebrated their 61st Anniversary this year. Allyson, their oldest child, was born in 1961, followed closely by Suzanne born in 1962, and then Michael, born in 1968.
Linda went to work for Pacific Power and Light as a key punch operator and eventually moved to a supervisory position. She made many friends and would work there until she was offered an early retirement. Upon retiring she worked part time at Everybody’s Market in Newberg as the office manager and also as a recess aide at Mabel Rush Elementary School. The students called her Grandma and she doted on them! She loved running into her ‘kids’ around town.
Nothing was more important to Linda than her family. She loved her children Allyson, Suzanne and Michael unconditionally. Her six grandchildren were her everything! And she adored her seven great grandchildren and could remember all their birthdays!
Linda is survived by her sisters Mary Johnson and Ginger Lile and brother Tom Farr. Her children Allyson Cooper, Suzanne Hancock, and Michael Osborne. Her grandchildren Christopher and Andrew Nelson, Kristen Rogowicz, Kimberly Clifton, William Cooper, Megan Osborne, and great grandchildren Isabelle, Olivia, Jackson, Lucy and Benjamin Rogowicz, Gavin Nelson and Arthur Clifton. She was very well loved and will be so missed by all of us.
