The following is a letter received by Linda Farr Osborne from Geraldine. It is dated August 5, 1988
Dear Linda, I want to thank you for all the time you put in to help organize our class reunion. I'm so sorry I didn't get to visit with you. In fact, I never got to visit with several people I wanted to talk to. I'm usually one that can't sit still but I was not feeling well Saturday. But I still enjoyed myself a lot. So did Ken, my friend. He said he thought I came from a class of real friendly people. I thought if I could get the addresses of the classmates I would write to some of them that were not there and tell them how much they were missed. (Being unable to work I have a lot of time on my hands.) Perhaps some of them will return my letter. I hope so anyway. You know, Naida brought my oldest baby to me at Bess Kaizer Hospital 28 years ago. The only time I had seen her since high school and I never got to talk to her. I promised Ann Baker to have lunch with her then didn't get her address. I did get Alice Kaye's and Diana Rickert's. I wrote to Mary Gennar (Haartz) for several years after our 20 year reunion, then lost contact with her. The only ones I see a lot of are the Kadens. Garry's wife, Lou, is the sister of my brother's wife. Colonel and Shirley have been together 35 years. Garry and Lou come to all our camp-outs and Christmas parties and most other family gatherings. I'm disappointed that more local classmates didn't come. Rosetta told me she'd be there this year for sure and I thought Al Blodgett would be there too. Oh well, maybe next time. Well, Linda, I'd best get this in the mail. Let me know how you are doing and sometime when I'm out that way maybe we can get together for a nice visit. Till next time then Your friend, Geraldine
